New Original Game from NA Will Provide Friendship for Lonely Gamers
Neotronic Arts Inc. today announced that the award-winning Jpod division at it’s Burnaby, BC campus has been developing an original intellectual property that will introduce a new experience to the Skateboarding genre.
Set in a chilly suburban underworld of shopping malls and parking lots, the atmosphere is full of sights that will be familiar to the average young gamer. While in reality these backdrops may feel sterile and isolating, BoardX makes them friendly again with the addition of a buddy to be announced in the coming weeks.
Vice President in Charge of Vision Steve Lefkowitz commented, “We wanted to give that lonely gamer a friend, someone who he can share his laughter with, his sorrows – his quest.”
Under development at NA Burnaby, BoardX is expected to ship in late 2008 for the Playstation3 and Xbox 360 consoles. This product is not yet rated.
